Zachary Daniels Recruitment is delighted to be supporting this market leading wholesale business in the appointment of a National Sales Manager to bring into their hugely successful UK operation.

As one of the UK's largest providers to the Animal Health Industry our client provide a comprehensive range of services designed to fully support Veterinary Practices as well as Agricultural and e-Commerce sectors in this space. They care passionately about the health and wellbeing of their customers patients, pets and livestock and seek a sales leader who shares their values.

As National Sales Manager you will be ambitious, caring, creative and target driven, desiring a role that combines all of these in service of your customers and their patients and clients.

Reporting to the Commercial Relations Director, the National Sales Manager is principally responsible for the management and success of a highly motivated field and indoor sales and account management team.

Leading the team, you will be responsible for customer acquisition, retention and development activity to achieve the business sales revenue and gross profit plans.

The National Sales Manager role co-ordinates activity across the business that drives customer centric solutions via retention, cross selling and brand-new business across product verticals that create a one stop shop for your valued customers.

The successful applicant will be able to display the following:

  • B2B experience with National / Global Blue Chip Companies (Retail / E-commerce background advantageous)
  • Commercial acumen.
  • Negotiation skills.
  • Good presentation and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Experience in management of customer facing teams.
  • Experience in dealing with senior decision makers

In return our client can offer a great basic salary, performance related bonus, car allowance and raft of other benefits. This is a Remote role with travel required to regional offices in line with the needs of the job.
