- General Manager | South London | Leisure | Salary up to £55,000 + benefitsZachary Daniels are recruiting for a retail General Manager of a fabulous, premium leisure site in South London.This role requires that you have a passion for climbing - this must your hobby and you love doing it!!You will be at the forefront of creating an exceptional environment for your guests to have a fabulous experience and inspire the team to deliver brilliant guest service. You will be managing and controlling budgets and driving sales to ensure that the high levels of performance which are standard within this business are maintained. In this role you have the autonomy to commercially manage your own space and always with your guest at the heart of each decision.This role is a great mix of commercial, operational and service, we want a General Manager who wants to lead the site to success, can add value to this site and inspire your team. This is a superb role that combines pace with the chance to provide a personal service to guests and long standing clients.Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Director, you will lead the team in store to success
- Drive performance and retail sales through the team
- Create an environment that creates an excellent experience for customers and the local community
- Enjoy what you do and show this to your team
- Work along side your team to grow your store through driving sales and delivering excellent customer service
- Motivate all colleagues to work well in a fast-paced environment
Experience and background:- Have a real passion for climbing
- Retail experience in either store management or senior management
- Working within a fast paced, service led environment
- Currently managing KPIs and budgets to improve their current store performance
- Has a track record of driving sales and performance
